"Human communities depend on the smoothest possible collaboration of many individuals."  Martin A. Nowak

Working with and for languages is particularly rewarding because language is more than a code. It involves not just learning vocabulary and the rules for constructing sentences; it also involves social and cultural practices of interpreting and making meanings. In my life, languages have always played an important role. Learning foreign languages develops various ways of seeing, understanding and communicating about the world, as each speaker uses his or her language(s) differently. Intercultural exchanges and daily dialogues expand our individual horizons and perceptions. This is very important as it directs the way we teach language. As we become confident in our own language skills, we also promote intercultural tolerance, competence and communication. All these aspects together build the basis for more cooperative, creative and successful collaborations amongst different communities. For the  teacher, it requires a high degree of flexibility, empathy and commitment. To me, it has always been a pleasure to adapt creative teaching methods in relation to the level and needs of my students. Teaching Language & Culture is a vocation and I share this passion and enthusiasm with my students.
